About Lymph Lounge

I’m Macy Grishaw, founder of Lymph Lounge and a licensed massage therapist, three times nationally certified in lymphatic drainage. I trained directly under Rebecca Faria in Beverly Hills, one of the most respected names in Brazilian lymphatic drainage.

Why this work matters to me

I’m the daughter of two cancer survivors. Watching my parents go through treatment gave me a deep respect for the lymphatic system and for how much depends on it. It taught me early that taking care of your body works best when you’re proactive, not reactive.

In 2020, I lost my sister. In the months that followed, I felt how much my body held on to grief. It changed how I felt physically, not just emotionally. What helped me most was lymphatic work, combined with my training as a Reiki practitioner. That experience showed me how closely the body and emotions are connected, and how much relief is possible when you care for both.

I bring that understanding into every session I give, including Reiki and energy work, and I’ve seen how much it means to the people I work with.

How Lymph Lounge began

I started in 2021 with one massage table in my basement. Clients kept coming back because they could see and feel the difference, and the practice grew from there: a studio on Grand Avenue in St. Paul, then Eagan, and now our full spa in Edina. Lymph Lounge was the first spa in Minnesota dedicated to Brazilian lymphatic drainage.

Our Edina spa is calm, cozy, and built for this one treatment, with private rooms and a sauna session included in every visit.

Timeless practice. Modern necessity.

Lymphatic drainage has been practiced for generations. What has changed is the way we live.

Your lymphatic system moves fluid and waste out of the body, but unlike your circulatory system, it has no pump. Your heart moves your blood. Your lymph depends on movement, breathing, and muscle contraction to keep flowing. When those slow down, so does your lymphatic system.

Modern life slows it down every day. We sit for long hours, travel often, and carry more stress than ever. We’re exposed to more toxins in our air, food, and water than any generation before us. Health conditions, surgery, pregnancy, and recovery add to that load. Over time, it shows up as bloating, puffiness, swelling, heaviness, and fatigue.

Brazilian lymphatic drainage is firm, rhythmic, results-focused work that gets your system moving again. Clients leave lighter, less bloated, and with more energy, and the results build when sessions are consistent. It’s a technique that has been around for generations, and it matters more now than it ever has.

We offer dedicated sessions for post-surgery recovery, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery, alongside our signature treatment for anyone who wants to feel and function better.

Our team

Today, Lymph Lounge is a team of licensed massage therapists. Each one trains in Los Angeles with the Detox by Rebecca team, and I train every one of them personally here in Edina. I work alongside them, review their technique regularly, and hold every session to the same standard I set when this was just me and one table.

As a wife and mother of four, I know how easy it is to put your own health last. I built Lymph Lounge for people who are ready to make it a priority, not as an occasional treat, but as part of how they take care of themselves for the long term.

We look forward to being part of your health and wellness journey.
